Welcome to the Love The Earth Art Contest! Celebrate Earth Day and the arrival of spring by showcasing your artistic talents and advocating for environmental stewardship. Through your creative expressions, convey the beauty of nature and inspire actions to protect our planet for future generations. Join us in exploring nature’s wonders and taking meaningful steps towards a sustainable future.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all middle and high school students, grades 5-12, residing in New Castle town and/or attending school in the Chappaqua Central School District.
Winner Selection
All entries will be initially evaluated to ensure adherence to the entry guidelines. Subsequently, both the submitted artwork and accompanying statement will be made available for public viewing, enabling voting based on content and artistic creativity. Instructions for public voting will be announced at a later date. Winners will be determined based on the highest number of public votes.

Entry Guidelines
- Each student is permitted to submit one original digital work, which can be a photo, digital art, or a video clip.
- Entries should tailor to one or both of the provided themes.
- Photos and digital art must be in either JPEG or PNG format, with a resolution of at least 5 megapixels (MP). Videos must be in MP4 format, with a minimum resolution of 720P and a maximum duration of 1.5 minutes. File sizes should not exceed 100MB. Please adhere to Instagram’s resolution and dimension guidelines to ensure that your entry displays properly online.
- In addition to the artwork, every entry must include a title and a statement (up to 2000 characters) delineating its relevance to the chosen theme(s).
- The entry must be an original creation of the submitter; artworks or written content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) or similar tools will not be accepted.
- Entries must not contain any copyrighted elements without proper authorization for use.
- Entries must not have been submitted elsewhere.
- Please do NOT include any personally identifying information, such as your name, in the title, statement, or art piece. Such details will be collected via the submission form to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
